The KD400V is one of the most compact generator in the industrial series line and produces 500kVA/400kW (standby) and 450kVA/360kW (prime) at 60 Hertz. Its 585-horsepower, 4-cycle Volvo diesel engine meets EPA emissions standards for mobile off-highway machines and it utilizes an encapsulated electronic voltage regulator to precisely regulate the current into the exciter field. Voltage regulation is +/-1 percent no load to full load.
