The electric-start, gasoline-powered DAW-500SA is the most powerful welder generator in the Multiquip line. It is a diesel powered 500-amp welder and 3kW AC generator with CC and CV welding capability. It excels in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and ACAC welding processes and has a lifting bail, external oil and fuel drains, and several automatic safety shutdowns for operator and tool protection. A Kubota D-1703 engine, with 34.5-horsepower, drives the welder generator.
